Where We Put Our Attention is Where We Put Our Light

Right where you are...Write where you are. Where we put our attention is where we put our light. Writing this blog has become a beautiful place for me to put my attention and light to share my life's journey. I made a coffee/tea cup with my pen name on it. When I drink from this cup I am filling up with love for my journey and embracing my gifts.

Mornings' light holds a sacred energy and quiet time of day for me to meditate and write. I also LOVE to wander barefoot out into the garden and commune with Mother Earth, the grass, flowers, trees, and listen to and watch her creatures sharing space with me. None of us truly own this land. It was here before we came and will be here when we leave this earth.

I have to laugh out loud because back in the day, in my younger years, I loved to stay up late. It would be safe to say that I was a night owl. Sleeping in the next day was amazing. Walking barefoot in the garden and tending to weeds, listening to the birds sing, and being present to all Mother Nature had to offer was not part of my morning routine.

Today, I hold all of my life's experiences with deep gratitude for being on this magnificent planet, waking up, and evolving into my most authentic self. I savor the sensations of being able to see, touch, feel, smell, and sense this wondrous planet and take nothing for granted. It is miraculous to be in a physical body and to feel it all.

Learning to slow down every day and become silent is a practice worth cultivating.

Try it for 5 minutes. Step away from everything around you and let your inner self settle. Breathe and be. Practice being patient with yourself and others as you find ways to slow down and find balance in your life. Early morning is a beautiful invitation to step into silence before the world around you wakes up.

Walking barefoot on the grass helps you to stay grounded. Shake your body, hands, arms, legs, and feet. Shake off any stagnant energy that no longer serves. Shake off old hurts and any old feelings that have become stuck. Let your body move gently and lovingly with the breath. It is a place to begin to practice self-care. Start with 5 minutes. After you feel the renewed sense of self...try practicing for 5 minutes a few times a day...and then practice several times a day. Notice how different you feel. You are becoming lighter, brighter, and more energized.

You are the creator of your life. Let go of being a victim. You no longer need to buy into victim-consciousness. You have the power to change your perspective on how you want to show up in the world. When we can begin to rearrange our internal world...who we think/believe/feel we are...it will begin to change your outer world. Healing is powerful and magic. Give it a try why don't you?

Healing can be painful and healing is not easy, but it is important and it will change your life in the most spectacular ways. Come to look at the shadows that lurk within the thinking mind, acknowledge the shadows, they always have something to teach...allow them to move through you. Forgive it all and let it go. You will begin to feel, sense, and know subtle healing is taking place. Be patient and loving with the uncertainty of the outer world and trust your intuition that flows in your inner world. Trust in your power to heal.

Set intentions to feel love, peace, and harmony for your self. Breathe those intentions into your heart and send the same intentions and feelings of love, peace, and harmony out to your community, the state you live in or the country, and the universe to feel the same.

We have the power to rise up in vibration and become aligned with Mother Nature and each other in harmony. We are creating exponential alignment in ourselves, the human collective, and the universe. It is good for all concerned.

When we seek stillness through grounding to earth and breathing deeply we access peace, harmony, clarity, and love. Be open to raising your consciousness back into wholeness.

Breathe and be and you will come to know who you truly are. I love you all.

Be the bridge to holding yourself in harmony, peace, and love for all concerned.
Be the bridge to holding yourself in harmony, peace, and love for all concerned.

You write so beautifully. I love this: Come to look at the shadows that lurk within the thinking mind, acknowledge the shadows, they always have something to teach.

I love the self care and that you were once a night owl (me too) and now a morning person (me too). Keep righting and writing. ✍️ 💜

I love the metaphor, I love the gently nudge to self care and I love the pure, gratitude that resonates through your posts. Thank you! Happy July 4 if you are celebrating.!
