Inhale Slowly...Exhale Gently...Pause.

Walking in the woods I came upon this adorable snowperson. Inhale, exhale, pause. Inhale is the snowfall. Exhale is the melting, life returning to movement. This snowperson is definitely is in the pause phase of her existence.

The pause is the gentle moment - the snowperson stands quietly in the sun. Between the falling snow and the melting there is the pause...the stillness. Will winter hold on a bit longer or is today the day spring melts her and transforms her back to a different state?

The pause between breaths is a gorgeous invitation to quiet the mind and expand your awareness. The brief moment of stillness within the breaths restores access to your inner wisdom. It restores your calm. It brings peace.

The pause between musical notes is how we can hear the music. What? Amazing.

The image of the snowperson in the "pause" makes me smile and giggle. How one image I noticed in the snow shifted my mood immediately. Spectacular. Never bypass the small moments in life that make you smile, laugh out loud, and bring insight.

Nature and laughter are great medicine and both definitely invite us into the pause. The two together hold us gently in the same great rhythm of being alive and give us the ability to transform our frequency. Lighten up.

Go ahead and laugh at the truly "human" looking snowperson...trying so hard to hold onto who they thought they were. I'll wait. I am still here laughing with you. Feel free to leave a comment if it made you smile.

What comes to mind when you look at the image of the snow person?

When I look at this image a few things come to mind.

Is my life a bit out of balance

like this snow person?

Am I holding on tightly

to something

I am ready

to

let go

of?

Is there anything

I am trying to control

that

simply

can not

be controlled?

Winter is a necessary

season...it invites us to

rest,

reflect,

and

travel

within...because it gets dark early,

it gets cold,

we go inside of our dwelling,

we possibly

light a fire or candle.

We have time to reflect on

what is working in our life

and what is not working

in our life...

adjust accordingly.

Inhale,

exhale,

pause.

Laugh as much as you can.

Laugh and your body

will respond kindly.

Time to let go.

Let go of things

you are holding onto.

Let go of resentments.

Forgive someone.

Forgive yourself.

Emerge from winter's rest

and

melt what no longer serves.

Spring forward,

renew,

begin again.

Blossom

where

you

are

planted.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Let your body settle into the pause.

The gentle earth beneath you holds you

in her healing rhythm whether you are standing or melting.

Let nature heal you, softly, quietly, and without effort.

Let go and melt like the snow person and blossom

into a new day like the spring flowers.

Allow your life to open and unfold naturally.

Inhale

Exhale

Pause

Supremely beautiful and I love the equation of the breathe with the melting snow...ox Thank you for lifting me inward once again to the authentic beauty and quiet bliss.
