Messengers

The world is filled with all kinds of messages that are delivered by different messengers. Information comes to us through our mind, body, and senses. Tune in and notice when you are out in nature.
Come into stillness, relax, and observe. Do you feel a primal and ancient connection stirring in your soul when you feel a bird or an animal is trying to communicate with you?
We have the ability to respond to nature and her creatures with wonder. Birds, animals, and all of nature are in the flow of life itself. Everything has consciousness. Begin to notice what birds, insects, or animals show up in your life. If you notice something out of the ordinary, tune in and notice what you were feeling or thinking at the time they got your attention. They may have a message just for you.
All summer long, blue jays flew overhead calling out loudly to me as I sat outside on the deck, the patio, and in the garden...when I was outside and not writing. They would perch on the tree branches, bushes, or on the side of the bird bath just outside my home office window trying to get my attention.
The blue jay's colors reflect (blue) for the sky, and divine will and truth, white color for purity, and (heaven) and (black) for potential and the earth. Blue jays are fearless and they are said to connect us to the mysteries of heaven and earth for they reside within both realms.
Early one morning, I was sitting in the chair on my front steps. Helicopter seeds that had blown into the gutters from the maple tree were suddenly falling down in front of my face from the roof above. I looked up to see a blue jay peeking down at me. Hello, blue jay. Pay attention to the messengers in your life.
The blue jay calls are loud, quite unique, and definitely grab my attention. They are affirming the importance of communicating with clarity, truthfulness, and awareness at the highest vibration. Blue jay was leading me forward helping me to further clarify my spiritual interpretation and guidance. She was not letting up on surrounding me with her presence. They are persistent.
One day last year whilst I was walking in nature, I heard many blue jays cawing loudly and flying all about the trees in the woods. What was happening? I looked up on Google why blue jays would be in such a state. I found out that they are incredibly protective and if there is a predator around, they notify each other by calling out. Fearless. I began to scan the trees in search of the source of this sudden raucous.
As I got closer to a curve on the path, I stopped and looked up at Mama Oak where the blue jays were calling and flying all about. There, on one of the branches of this marvelous oak tree, I spotted an owl peering down at me in complete stillness.
Its gray and brown plumage was perfectly camouflaged by the branches in the oak mirroring the same hues and patterning. Our eyes locked for a moment. Incredible. I thanked the blue jays for calling out to me her presence. I also thanked the owl. Living here for 26 years, I have occasionally heard owls in the night, but rarely have I witnessed them in the trees. It was a rather uncommon gift to see one during the day.
Blue jays also remind me of my brother, Kevin. Kevin passed away in 1996. If I am thinking of him and I see a blue jay, it is a sign from him letting me know he is ok on the other side.
When we were children, Kevin decided it would be a great idea to come in for a closer look at the nest and eggs of a blue jay. Mama blue jay was extremely protective of her home and family. To say she was not pleased by Kevin's presence would be an understatement.
She chased him away, and as he ran for cover, she flew above him divebombing him and pecking at the top of his head. He learned a huge lesson that day. You don't mess with mama or papa blue jay. They are swift and fierce.
On Saturday morning, I was lying down on my bed, eyes closed, listening to a healing meditation from Archangel Raphael and Mother Mary channeled by Kelly Kolodney. I was deep in meditation when I heard 3 distinct knocks on my bedroom window.
My first thought was it must be Rick, my husband, up on a ladder at the 2nd story window. I opened my eyes to see if he was outside our bedroom window knocking. He was not. I didn't see Rick, but I did see this beautiful blue jay trying to get my attention. She was quietly sitting on the brick ledge outside my bedroom window after she had knocked. I was grateful to be able to take a picture of here before she flew away.

As I write this blog post on blue jays, one just happened to stop by for a sip of cool water in my bird bath...just outside my home office window...where I am currently writing. Hello. Hello. Hello. Thank you for showing up blue jay. Your timing is impeccable.

Be open to experiencing animal communication. There might just be an important message or messenger urging you to open up your purview and listen to your inner voice and pay attention to the world of nature and her beautiful creatures.
Trust...tune-in...surrender...What do you need to know, sense, and feel in this now moment? Be in the magical presence of nature and observe your life from there. What messages await your expanding awareness?

Angie! How fun to see this post come to full fruition! Lovely! And I am grateful to be in touch with nature and its messaging. Wow - what a different planet when you're awake and tune in! oxox
