Crows: Storytellers, Scribes, Bridges Between Worlds

As I walked through the wet emerald grass this morning after last night's thunderstorms, I heard a soft clicking or a subtle rattling sound coming from the woods that encircle my garden. I gazed up at the gray sky and the wet leaves, which were dripping with rain and hanging heavily from the tree branches, trying to find the source of the clicking sound.
In the neighbor's woods, a dead tree's dark silhouette stood out, and the sounds were emanating from four crows perched high up in the dead tree, whispering away. The dead tree is a powerful symbol of the subconscious and the end of something, reminding me there is profound wisdom in quiet, empty spaces, and the end of a life (the tree's) still holds value and transformation. Death and rebirth. Crows are sacred guides for such transitions.
The sounds were different this morning. Different from the loud "caws" that seem more urgent than the soft call. A sound that said, "Pssst, carefully observe the subtle nuances." This was quieter, softer, more intricate sounds. Whispers from the unseen realms, asking me to tune into the softer, quieter, subtle shifts happening in my life. Always tune into my intuition and look beneath the surface of a current situation.
A dead tree often symbolizes the "liminal space" between life and death, past and future. It certainly signifies a period to release outdated patterns or beliefs that are no longer helpful.
The dead tree in the woods definitely set the stage for a message in transformation, or it may mark the beginning of a new phase in my journey. I have experienced numerous transformative changes in my life as of late. I appreciate how the natural world is constantly in communication with me, reflecting back the messages I need to receive.
A lifeless tree with the four black crows is like a blank slate with ink on it for the unknown and not yet revealed pages scribed by this writer. Crows are messengers and master communicators between the physical and spiritual realms. They are known to be keepers of hidden knowledge, storytellers, and holders of thoughts that carry sacred guidance.
The four crows gathering in the dead tree and clicking softly were communicating messages that my writing and art come from deep wisdom within me that is ready to be birthed from a quiet mind and whispered from my heart. And the area around my home is a sacred community, protected, spiritually grounded, and in alignment with life and family.
A beautiful nod from the spiritual realm and natural world to continue to reflect, transform, discern messages, and to always listen intentionally to my internal world as I walk in the physical world. Even when things look bare, like the dead tree, there is important transformation quietly happening within the decomposition and preparation in the soil for new growth.
I saw four crows, spiritual sentinels that validated the portal I am stepping through is sacred, safe, and fully supported by the unseen realms. Four in sacred geometry is a number for stability, foundations, and a strong sense of home. By the time I got my phone out to take a picture, I was only able to capture two crows. Two in sacred geometry symbolized by the two remaining crows are symbolic of duality, reflection, and divine faith in my path.
The other two crows I could still hear but remained unseen...like the realms I explore. The unseen and the seen working in tandem to assist me. The bridge between the physical scribe and the spiritual muse.

Your life is beautifully lived. ox
